I have seen cats when they even shake their bodies, their fur comes off and some people are allergic to it. Why does it happen this way?

Parasites that bring about mange, and fungal issues like ringworm, are also common causes of cat alopecia. Some cats experience skin allergies, which can cause hair loss to occur. Food allergies are another possibility, as are metabolic conditions such as hyperthyroidism, the term for overproduction of thyroid hormones.

Cats shed their fur as a natural process of growth and replacement. Their fur comes off easily due to their grooming habits and seasonal changes. Regular brushing can help reduce shedding.

Cats have a type of fur called "guard hairs" that are designed to come off easily. This helps cats to stay clean and to rid themselves of parasites and other irritants. When cats shake their bodies, these guard hairs come off, which can cause problems for people who are allergic to cats.

Cats shed fur regularly as part of their natural grooming process. Shedding helps remove old or damaged hair and allows new hair to grow. Factors like season, health, and breed can influence the amount of shedding. Regular grooming can minimize loose fur around the house.
