Yes, it is safe to give Amoxicillin to cats. Even if Amoxicillin is an antibiotic for humans it can be used to treat any bacterial infections in cats too. Amoxicillin can be used in cats safely at low dosages. Recommended dosage in cats is 50 mg per day. Also, you need to check for any allergies before continuing with Amoxicillin doses in cats.

Amoxicillin is used for the treatment of bacterial infections in cats. Cats are vulnerable to infection just like any other animals. Veterinarians recommend amoxicillin dosage for their treatment.

Vets generally prescribe amoxicillin, humans antibiotics can be safely administered to cats. Doses for cats will not be the same as those for people, and they can be fatal so you must consult your veterinarian for the correct dosage. For cats in dosage of five to ten milligrams for each pound of the animal's frame weight, is typically administered once each twelve or 24 hours.

Amoxicillin is not toxic or poisonous to cats and it’s safe if using the prescribed doses. You should contact your veterinarian before giving this to your cat though.

Some cats may not be suitable for giving Amoxicillin because they have a strong prey drive. If you are giving Amoxicillin to a cat and they are not resistant to it, it may be best to give them a different type of amine instead.
