Lynx point cats are rarer but they are not difficult to find, they are a blend of traditional Siamese and Tabby cats. These describe a colorpoint cat, where the darker areas on the cat's coat also show a tabby pattern and they get darker when getting older. They are affectionate, intelligent, friendly, and social. They seem to have calmed down the reputational temperament of the pure Siamese.

A lynx point is a color variation found in certain cat breeds, such as the Siamese or Balinese. Cats with lynx point coloring have a light-colored body with darker tabby-like stripes on their face, legs, and tail. The pattern resembles that of a lynx, giving it its name.
