Paper bags especially plastic can cause suffocation, paper clips and needles should be kept away from cats. Balls with bells inside that mimic mice should be played with under supervision as they can swallow which can obstruct the intestines.

Strings, feather toys, rubber bands, elastic yarn, dental floss and toys small enough for your cat to swallow. These can be hazardous to your cats.

It is important to avoid giving your cat toys that are small enough to be swallowed, as this could cause choking hazards. Additionally, you should avoid giving your cat toys with strings, ribbons, or cords, as these can become tangled around your cat's neck or limbs. You should also avoid giving your cat toys with sharp edges or pieces that can easily break off, as these can pose a potential choking hazard.

While many cat toys are safe and enjoyable, it's crucial to be cautious and avoid toys that could pose a risk to your cat's health. Some things to consider:

Small Objects: Avoid small toys or objects that can be easily swallowed or pose a choking hazard.

String and Ribbon: Long strings, ribbons, or yarn can be dangerous if ingested, causing intestinal blockages. Supervise play with such toys.

Rubber Bands and Hair Ties: These can be tempting for cats to bat around, but they pose a choking hazard if ingested.

Toys with Small Detachable Parts: If a toy has small parts that can be bitten off, they may pose a choking risk or be swallowed.

Toxic Materials: Ensure that toys are made from non-toxic materials. Avoid items with harmful chemicals or substances.

Sharp Edges: Toys with sharp edges or points can injure your cat. Choose toys with smooth, safe designs.
