Garlic is poisonous to cats. It is not safe to give foods contain garlic to your cat. Garlic contains a chemical substance called thiosulphate which makes it dangerous to cats. Thiosulpahte in garlic can destroy red blood cells in cats and will lead to breathing difficulties.

Garlic is among the spices that are used in food. They are tasty and have an attempting aroma. Unfortunately, it can't be used in cat food due to its poisonous nature on cats.

Ingesting garlic may destroy cats' red blood cells, a deadly condition known as hemolytic anemia. It causes vomiting and diarrhea, breathlessness, lethargy, paleness, and elevated heart rate.

Cats should never eat garlic at all. It is extremely toxic to cats and will cause hemolytic anemia and possibly even gastroenteritis. Any amount of garlic will be detrimental to a cats health.

Garlic is not recommended for cats as it can be toxic and cause digestive issues. If you want to give your cat a treat, it is better to give them something like a small amount of cooked fish or meat.

Onions, garlic, chives, and leeks are in the Allium family, and are poisonous to both dogs and cats if the dose is right (if they eat a single large serving or repeatedly nibble on small amounts over time). Garlic is considered to be about five times as toxic as onions for cats and dogs.
