Cats cannot be 100% no allergenic. Some cats cause the least allergic reaction. The common protein Fel d 1 which is found in their saliva is what most people are allergic to. Examples of cats that cause the least allergic reactions include; Siberian, sphynx, cornish, bengal, and Russian blue.

The most common known hypoallergenic cat breed is Hairless Sphynx. Note that there isn’t a completely hypoallergenic cat in the world because cat hair isn’t what people are allergic to.

The most hypoallergenic cat breed is the Siberian cat. Siberian cats produce less of the Fel d 1 protein, which is the main allergen in cats, than other breeds. They also produce less dander, which can also trigger allergies, and their coats are less prone to shedding. Additionally, Siberian cats are known for being friendly and affectionate, making them a great choice for people with allergies.

Sphynx cats are the first breed most often associated with being hypoallergenic. Unlike other breeds, the hairless Sphynx does not shed any Fel D1 protein saturated fur around the house – the allergen just stays on their skin.
