How long has your cat been with you? What drew you to adopt him/her?

I have had my cat for about five years now. I adopted her from a local animal shelter. When I first saw her, I was drawn to her immediately. She was so small and sweet, and I could tell she was a very loving and gentle cat. I knew I had to take her home and give her a forever home.
