No, my cat does not meow at birds and squirrels outside. She is more interested in chasing them!

My cat loves to chase after birds and squirrels that she sees outside. She will often sit at the window and watch them for hours. She is very determined and will often try to catch them, though she has never been successful so far. She always meows at them, though, as if to show her enthusiasm for the chase.

Yes when it was used to be young it used to do so. But when it has grown it doesn't do so now days it just looks on now days.
