Cats do not menstruate in the same way as dogs or humans. Instead, they experience a heat cycle, also known as estrus. During this cycle, female cats can be receptive to mating, and if they don't mate, they may go through multiple heat cycles. Unlike menstruation, there is no shedding of uterine lining in cats.
