There are so many reasons why cats knead their masters. The only thing for sure is they are showing their clingy personality. They are sweet. If they do this, they just show how pleasant felt about something.

The cat might feel safe and secure with you, they often knead while being petted. They just return the affection and telling he loves you right back. never punish your cat for kneading, if it's bothersome. Let your cat knead in peace and try to enjoy it because this is an instinctive behavior for cats.

Kneading is a behavior that cats exhibit when they are feeling content and relaxed. It is believed that cats knead when they are trying to mark their territory with their scent, or when they are trying to stimulate milk production in their mother's nipples. When cats knead on your lap, they are showing their affection and trust in you.

Kneading to convey comfort — Happy cats appear to knead to show pleasure. Cats often knead while being petted, or when snuggling into a napping spot. Your cat may also knead on your lap to show her love and contentment, and then settle in for a pat or nap. A stressed cat may knead to create a soothing, calm mood.

When a cat kneads, it's a behavior retained from kittenhood where they rhythmically push their paws against a soft surface. It's often associated with contentment, relaxation, or a sign of affection. Cats may knead when they feel comfortable and safe.
