Paracetamol is not safe for cats. You should not give paracetamol to your cat under any circumstances even if many human drugs are safe for cats. Cats don't have the ability to break down paracetamol which can lead to damage to the liver. Paracetamol will also destroy red blood cells in cats which can cause breathing difficulty. So avoid it as a painkiller to your feline friend.

Paracetamol should never be given and should be kept out of reach of cats to prevent accidental ingestion. Acetaminophen can cause a decrease in the red blood cells' ability to carry oxygen. Liver damage may also occur, and red blood cell changes can occur within 4-12 hours. Cats may become depressed or weak, with rapid breathing, a high heart rate, painting, abdominal pain, vomiting, or drooling.

No, it is not safe to give paracetamol to cats. Paracetamol is toxic to cats and can cause serious health problems if ingested. If your cat is in pain or has any other medical issues, it is best to consult your veterinarian for advice on how to best treat your cat.<3

For humans it's seen as a mild painkiller, and we use it for everything from pain to headaches, but for cats, paracetamol is extremely toxic. Cats cannot break down paracetamol and toxins are produced that seriously damage their liver and red blood cells.

No, it's not recommended to give paracetamol (acetaminophen) to cats, as it can be toxic to them.  Don't give medication to your cat before consulting a vet, this is very important.
